Cooking Must: Festive Playlists

As I was preparing Ina Garten’s Chicken with Herbed Goat Cheese and Creamy Mustard Vinaigrette for an arugula salad last night, I turned on my bluetooth speaker and got inspired. I have learned that cooking is so much more fun if you have some fun music to accompany it. I highly suggest to everyone to create some playlists that can be played while cooking and during a dinner party.

In my Spotify library, I have an Italian themed playlist, a Spanish themed playlist, a playlist featuring crooners, the playlist from Somethings Gotta Give, and many other playlists that go great with food. Whether you are cooking alone or with a significant other, music is a must. So invest in a good bluetooth speaker. I have a Bose Soundlink Color bluetooth speaker that I absolutely love. It is so light and easy to transport. I also recommend having some sort of app to create playlists with. If you prefer to have playlists created for you, maybe you should look into Pandora. If you enjoy picking out songs, Spotify is a great choice. iTunes can also be a great tool if you don’t mind purchasing songs.

Here is a peak of my España playlist that has been wonderful for dinner parties, cocktail parties, and for enjoying cooking:

The playlist has 39 songs and runs for 2 hours and 19 minutes.

Be sure to make your own playlists to make cooking that much better!
